Ruppel Enterprises was established in 1972 by Mike Ruppel.
Mike began working weekend construction in 1961 while at Louisiana State University.
In 1963 he became the general superintendent for a large housing company. He overseed and coordinating the development and construction of residential subdivisions including land development, underground utilities, road construction, common areas, and municipal tracks in subdivisions in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 1967 Mike relocated to Houston, Texas to coordinate the development and construction of apartment complexes. In 1972 he started his own construction business w/ the exception of a year and a half stint in Los Angeles, CA where he procured a Class B. contractors license for the state of California.
Mike returned to build custom and speculative homes in the Houston area and on West Galveston Island. His commercial experience began in the early 1970's with a ground up build of a bank and office building in (SW) Houston.
In late 1993 Mike Ruppel merged with a commercial interior finishing contractor (Pat Millon).
